10 Days Amazing Kenyan Safari

After breakfast leave for Samburu National Park arrive to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch you proceed for an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge in the evening. Samburu National Park is situated on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro river in Kenya. This means plenty of water, trees and shade to attract wildlife.

Depart from your hotel and take a drive that will take you to the central highlands of Kenya passing through wheat and flower farms to reach Aberdare Country Club, which is nested on a slope of Mweiga hill. Aberdare National Park is a picturesque piece of heaven with steep forested ravines and is home to beasts such as the elephants, the black rhinos, the spotted hyenas, bushbucks among others. You will arrive in time for lunch at the country club. This captivating site was the homestead of an English couple that decided to settle in Kenya. Almost a half-century later, their home, “The Steep”, was renamed the Aberdare Country Club and opened for guests. After lunch, transfer to the Ark Lodge, which is built in the shape of Noah’s Ark and overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick that attracts a host of awesome wildlife. Your afternoon will be spent viewing wildlife at the lodge.

Have breakfast and then proceed for a full day’s tour game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife park. The game drives take us in search of Africa’s big five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. Wherever you go in vast Masai Mara, you will see a lot of wildlife. You will also undertake a cultural visit of a Masai village. Back to the hotel in the evening.

Depart Masai Mara in the morning for Lake Naivasha and arrive in time for lunch. Check in relax and have lunch. After lunch you will an optional boat rides while watching hippos and other wildlife. Have a full day game drive in this wild and rugged Samburu National Park which is fiercely beautiful with its arid Savannah watered by the lovely Ewaso Nyiro river. It is also one of Kenyas most protected National park and home to the special 5 found North of the equator like the Reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Gerenuk, Somali ostrich and Grevy zebras.

After early breakfast you will depart for Lake Nakuru. On the way you will have brief stopovers at the equator point and Thompson falls. You will then proceed to arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch and rest you embark on a tour of Lake Nakuru National Park. Flocks of greater and lesser flamingos are found on this Lake which turns it pink hence it is dubbed the pick lake. It is also a home to the endangered black and white Rhino, the big cats and other wildlife except the elephant. At 1800 hrs you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Depart Lake Nakuru in the morning and drive to Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Upon arrival you will check into the lodge, have lunch and brief rest. Later you will take your first thrilling evening game drive in the Masai Mara game reserve, one of East Africa top safari destinations.
Back to your lodge late in the evening.

After breakfast, you’ll drive to Nairobi via the famous Rift Valley Escarpment; a photograph at the escarpment is a must if time permits. You’ll then be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport according to your international flight schedule or your respective Hotel/Accommodation as directed by you
